Ground Hog Day - Did He See His Shadow?

The world's most famous groundhog predicted an early spring on Wednesday.

Punxsutawney Phil emerged just after dawn on Groundhog Day (February 2nd) to make his 125th annual weather forecast in front of a smaller-than-usual crowd.

Note: Groundhog Day celebration stems from a German superstition; according to the superstition, if a hibernating animal casts a shadow on February 2, Groundhog Day (Special 15th Anniversary Edition)winter will last another six weeks. Conversely, if no shadow was seen, then as legend has it, spring will come early.
